The year we will never forget.

The reason we will never forget this year is because we came, some hungry, broken and tired, and we all left full on Jesus.  It was a time to really walk in His presence.  It was a time where we understood what 'true devotion' requires and tasted the great mercies of God.  We feasted on the bounty of God for 2 weeks.

We laughed, worked, studied, cried,  played, served, worshiped, rested, prayed, and arose  "out of the vanity of time into the riches of eternity".

STAFF

For the summer of 2005 we had two different basic groups, with a total of 38 students.  We could never have done all that we had before us unless we had great counselors.  The Lord blessed us with great leadership.  Suz and Rebecca had hearts that were so attentive to God's voice.  Matt, Erik and Cody gave us the steadfastnees and the desisre to know Him.  Each were a living example and modeled and showed His love for us as true hidden servants.

From the group to the solo time we enjoyed each other, nature, and God.

"Write this book down" and many other quotes were loaded on to us in our Study Room.

Did someone leave these pillows here for the Book Reading music time?

Yes we got to 'play' every night.  And then yes, we had a special night in the Chapel.

We found that worship is not just a time in Chapel singing, but working with our hands, pounding on each other on the sports field, and to reclaim the truths found in our Solo times.

"My eye is not on the thickness of the fog but on the God who controls every circumstance of my life"

Our devotins were, working, playing, reading, and cultivating the presence of God in every moment of the day.
